Digital Mammogram

Mammography (also called mastography) is the process of using low-energy X-rays (usually around 30 kVp) to examine the human breast for diagnosis and screening. The goal of mammography is the early detection of breast cancer, typically through detection of characteristic masses or microcalcifications.

Our center is equiped with Hologic Selenia 6000. Hologic has always been at the forefront of breast cancer screening and offers the first breast tomosynthesis tech/gy.

It has the ability to execute high resolution imaging, providing confort to the patient, with a least exposure to radiation-the lowest in the market.

It provides an excellent interpretation system of mammograms, with high definition monitors and important diagnostic tools.
